I'm having trouble adjusting to the shampoo bar. Can you please make recommendations?
Yes here are some recommendations to easily adjust to shampoo bars.
Most of the time your hair simply needs to adjust as you switch from one type of shampoo to another.
Don’t put the bar directly on your hair. Foam up on a sponge or between your two hands and wash with only the foam. It can be very helpful in making the hair less tacky until the adjustment takes place. Lather up and then be sure to rinse, rinse, rinse!!!! If you have long hair please pay attention to the middle back of the hair so that you rinse all of the soap out of your hair.
Rinse for longer than you normally do and use exfoliating gloves to massage hair and scalp carefully.
Use an Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse after every wash.
Every now and then use a Baking Soda Rinse to clarify your hair and scalp.
Don’t give up your hair will eventually adjust.
What are the ingredients?
INGREDIENTS: SODIUM COCOATE (COCONUT OIL), SODIUM OLIVATE (OLIVE OIL), SODIUM CASTORATE (CASTOR OIL), SODIUM PALMATE (CERTIFIED SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL), AQUA, GLYCERINE, SODIUM RAPESEEDATE (RAPESEED OIL), SODIUM AVOCADATE (AVOCADO OIL), LAVENDULA ANGUSTIFOLIA OIL (LAVENDER), ROSEMARINUS OFFICIALAIS OIL (ROSEMARY), GERANIOL, LIMONENE, LINALOOL (Within the essential oils), ALKANNA TINCCTORIA POWDER (ALKANET ROOT POWDER).
The palm oil used is certified sustainable Greenpalm by the Rainforest Alliance. To be certified by the Rainforest Alliance, products must come from forests that have met rigorous standards for protecting forestlands, communities and wildlife. Palm Oil, Elaeis guineensis, is produced from the pulp or fleshly portion of the fruit of the palm. Palm oil is an excellent moisturizer and never dries out skin. It makes a nice hard bar of soap that cleans well when used in combination with other oils such as coconut and olive oil. It lends hardness and smooth creamy bubbles to soap. Palm oil is universal and used in many luxury soaps and skin care products.
